Okay, so here's a little secret. One reason that I decided to start Foxxie Friday tales began with the fact that in the beginning of my efforts to write romance I was always a little squeamish when it came to writing the sex scenes.
Yeah, who could tell now, right? But that was pretty much the point. I wanted to get to a place where writing an intimate scene was practically second nature. And what better way to do that than to step all the way out there and start writing erotica regularly? I also chose erotic flash fiction shorts because I noticed quite a few readers saying that they can appreciate a good sex scene and sometimes skip to read them first. I believe that women are sexual creatures, many of whom don't fully embrace that sexual, sensual side of themselves. Some think that desire is something to be ashamed of, to hide, repress, and to pretend we don't really have. I think there's a place for everything in this big wide world of ours. And that includes a place for a beautiful love story as well as a place for women to unashamedly explore their wild, erotic nature too. Though my goal is to create uber sexy stories here, I still enjoy playing around with genres, ideas, and yes, I still love including lots of romantic elements too in my flash fiction. But for those looking for taking a quick trip to their wilder side, this is the place for you.
